The Mini Uzi is a compact variant of the renowned Uzi submachine gun, designed by Uziel Gal and manufactured by Israel Military Industries (IMI). Introduced in 1980, the Mini Uzi was developed to address the need for a smaller, more maneuverable firearm for close-quarters combat while retaining the core functionality of the original Uzi. The Mini Uzi features a shorter barrel, reduced overall length, and a higher cyclic rate of fire (approximately 950 rounds per minute). It operates on an open-bolt, blowback system and is chambered for the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge.
