The M1895 Hembrug rifle was a Dutch bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5x53mmR. It was developed by the Hembrug Arsenal and adopted by the Royal Netherlands Army in 1895. The rifle was based on the Mannlicher design and featured a clip-fed magazine, making it one of the first modern rifles adopted by the Dutch military.

The M1895 saw service during both World Wars, though by the time of World War II, it was largely obsolete compared to the more advanced rifles used by other nations. Despite this, it was still issued to Dutch forces during the German invasion of the Netherlands in 1940.

Though it was eventually replaced by more modern rifles, the M1895 Hembrug remains a significant piece of Dutch military history. It is often collected by military historians and firearms enthusiasts due to its historical importance and craftsmanship.
