The PM1910 was a Russian heavy machine gun developed in the early 20th century. Chambered in 7.62x54mmR, it was a Maxim-derived design, mounted on a wheeled Sokolov carriage for easier transport. The PM1910 saw extensive service during both World War I and the Russian Civil War, as well as during World War II.

Adopted in 1910, the PM1910 became the standard heavy machine gun of the Russian Imperial Army and later the Soviet Red Army. It was used in both stationary defensive positions and mounted on armored vehicles. Though heavy and cumbersome, its water-cooled barrel allowed for sustained fire in prolonged engagements.

The PM1910 remained in use throughout World War II, although it was eventually replaced by more modern machine guns like the SG-43. Its iconic silhouette and role in Russian and Soviet military history make it a notable weapon in 20th-century warfare.
